Not playing at their best, probably the big occasion, Manor looked the more dangerous and won the Essex Cup final against Chelmsford 12-8. Chelmsford battled hard throughout and didn't make it an easy match and a late try by Chelmsford made a very nervous final few minutes for all of the Manor players, parents. A special mention should go those from Manor that came to support, not only was there first and second team players but also huge from the U13's squad of those who weren't selected. This was a whole squad achievement and this was exemplified by the support the playing members of the squad received from the rest of their team mates. This is the mentality of and ethos of Manor.
