As well as six new additions to our playing squad, Eton Manor RFC will have a new Head Coach & Attack Coach join the Senior Men's Coaching Team for 2022-23 season.
Former Premiership & Championship player, Jesse Liston – a defence specialist, has taken on the Blue&Blue reins as Head Coach after the departure of Jamie Connors, he is joined by a new member to our coaching team, former Hertford 1stXV Captain, Michael Sargent who comes in as our new Attack Coach. The duo, alongside Aaron Lowe (Backs & Skills), Ian Edwards (Line out), Tom Webb (Scrum) Richard Stock (Ruck), Jeff Bradley (Skills) & Ryan Soloman (S&C) will form a very experienced coaching team who share in our resolve to drive the club towards the top of the league.
Director of Rugby Mark Farrell said
“Jamie Connors stepping down after 10 years had left some very big boots to fill, but we have worked hard to get the right coaching combination in place to take our club forwards. Jesse taking on our lead position and Michael (Sitchey) coming into our coaching set up as attack coach bring experience and knowledge by the bucket load! I am very excited to see this new coaching team in place and I know they cannot wait to hit the training ground for Pre Season starting in June”.
Club Members & Supporters will of course play their part as they always do, and coaches and players alike cannot wait to see the newly erected stand packed out at Nutter Lane throughout the 2022-23 season.
