Manor women travelled to Wasps on Sunday 22nd September to face a team that beat us twice last season. Bolstered by an unbeaten pre-season and a big win in the first league match, Manor were determined to at least better the score line. With a squad comprising of 11 home grown players from our phenomenal girls’ section and some seriously talented women who have joined us over the past two years, we felt stronger and determined to take on the mighty Wasps. What followed was a totally dominant display by Manor against a physical opposition. Nine tries and five conversions saw Manor take an impressive 5-55 win, with returning player Ella Sorrentino scoring three, Tahnika Talbot scoring two, and one each from Lauren Manner, Scarlett Bowden, Simbi Sikiru and Anne Marie Howe. Lily Collister converted three and Lauren the other two.
