The unbeaten start to our London Region 2 Anglia League campaign continued last week with our 1stXV gaining a well contested 19 -19 away draw with Letchworth RFC. Two first half tries from Aaron Lowe & another from scrum half Michael Sargent, saw us push out to a convincing 0-19 lead, only for Letchworth to pull it back during the second half for a draw. Full Back Toto Odulaja was our Man of the Match.

With Woodford II's late withdrawal from our Essex Merit league Div 1 fixture against our 2nd XV, expeditious work from fixture secretary Alex Maye, allowed Jeff Bradley & Stocky to take the boys over the Thames to Old Colfeians RFC to play their 2nd team. Manor II's ran out convincing 14 - 45 winners, with back row Will Ngassa getting the Man of the Match award. There was no 3rd XV game, but our 4th XV took the short trip to Manors former home, Hackney Marshes to play Old Streetonians III in a friendly, described as a thoroughly enjoyable match saw Alex Maye's side comfortably win 12 - 29.

NO SENIOR MENS FIXTURES this week as we have a league rest week, but we return on the 15th October when our 1stXV will be hosting Chingford RFC & our 2ndXV will be hosting Chelmsford II.
