Well done to the U13s today, they achieved a hard fought 0-5 win at Chingford, on a pitch which both teams struggle to stand up on, it was not a day for handling!!!. the boys starred slowly and struggled to keep hold of the ball, this resulted in Chingford applying constant pressure on the Manor defence, which yet held firm, thanks to some tireless tackling from Thomas, Leo and Matthew in particular. Manor eventually managed to get some ball and thanks to some cleaver kicking from Eoin managed to move into Chingford's half and begin to threaten their try line.Terrell was held up twice over the line and Manor butchered one two manor overlap so the score at half time remained 0-0. Manor started the second half the way that they ended the first half, pressurising the Chingford defines, which to it's credit held firm, until the ball was shifted via Kane and Cormac to Max Shaw who put on the gas and went over in the corner. the boys should have gone onto score a few more tries but the conditions really made any running game very challenging, but well done to the pack particularly man of the match Tom for some crunching tackles and Haidan for some excellent work securing the ball.
Well done to you all, character building stuff!!!
